Silverstone Circuit events: report on one-to-one meeting on 12 September with Head of Events concerning Silverstone traffic management,including disruption on 6 August and the one-way system during MotoGP 2017.
Silverstone Circuit Community Liaison Group: reminder of 14 September quarterly meeting for local Parish Council Chairs with Silverstone Circuit director and all heads of department to discuss traffic, developments, and all matters relevant to parish councils in the area.
MEPC Parish Councils quarterly meeting: reminder of 14 September quarterly meeting, likely to involve discussion of proposed cycle route, mention of the Dadford traffic calming scheme and any planning applications.
Broadband: update on developments, including meeting on 12 September between the Chair and Roz Bird, Commercial Director of MEPC and technical team concerning use of MEPC’s mast by Voneus. In addition, communications from Voneus received by parishioners, and how to disseminate information.
Communications:
  • proposal of a parish-wide list of email addresses to be used bcc to facilitate circulation of important (not trivial) information
  • proposal to use of the Dadford village facebook page for similar information
  • update on latest article written for the Dadford and Stowe Parish (Church) magazine
  • update on the brief written for a Parish Council website, and discussion of future plans.
