Field Setup: have two lines of cones, 5 cones in each line 5 yards apart. Base number of lines on your players. If you need just one line in order to watch players, then use one line.
- Have players get in two lines.
- Instruct players on which dodge to use (face/split/roll/keeper split)
- Have them attack cones demonstrating one move
- Players will execute dodge 5 times, and then spring back to end of the line.
- Repeat with opposite hand and continue through all 4 dodges
- As players progress, add a defensive player at each cone. Not to take ball away, but to make sure that ball is protected throughout move.

- Players will attack first cone and split (have players alternate which way they split dodge)
- When players get to second level of cones they will roll to the inside and shoot on cage
- Concentration on stick protection and shooting right out of the dodge.

- Players will work on zigzag cutting with the ball.
- Players will attack first cone with stick in one hand. When they reach the first cone they will explode back get hands free. We are trying to get kids to learn how to move like an attackman.
- Players will continue through all cones and make a pass to coach at the end of their last move.
- Add a defender to put pressure on attacker
- D works on good positioning and footwork
- Switch side after everyone has gone through three times
Grid Locked

- Separate into two teams
- Offense team lines up at top of first box with ball in the players stick. D puts three players, one in each box with no sticks.
- D rotation. Box 3, box 2, box 1, back in line.
- Attacking players tries to get through each box without dropping the ball.
- Can be played as a game with a point awarded when attacking player moves from box to box and for scoring, D get points when attacking players drop the ball.
