Saddle Seat riding lessons are available Tuesday
through Saturday. Lessons are by appointment only, but you are absolutely welcome to call the same day. Ages are 4 and up.
Saddleseat riding is the basis of all seats of riding. It is a centered-balanced riding that will give you the proper foundation of riding that you need. We do not jump.
At each lesson you will learn grooming and tacking and begin learning the basics of horsemanship. Please plan to come a little early and stay a little late to get the full experience. Everyone starts in private lessons until he/she can walk and trot in a controlled safe manner. Jeans and tennis shoes are adequate to start with until you determine this is something you wish to pursue. At which time we can direct you to the appropriate places to get the proper gear. Summer camp at Stepping Stone is a great and fun experience! My goal is for your children to come home very tired and very dirty! Camps are held on a weekly basis and the goal is for each child to learn as much about horses and their care as possible. Each student will ride twice each day mixed in with some class time learning and crafts. Bring your lunch each day. I provide water and Gatorade to drink. Camps are scheduled from 9-3 Monday through Friday on the dates shown.

Cost is $300 per camp or $75 per day. Discounts for multiple children from same family in same camp.
Lessons are $35 per private lesson or $125 for a package of 4.
Group lessons are $25 each.
