Sign into the Young Life Staff Page

Complete Young Life Background Check

Complete Young Life Faith and Conduct Form

Complete Driver Questionnaire

Complete New Volunteer Orientation

Step 3 – First Steps as a Leader

Set up a Gmail account if you do not have one so that you can access Google Drive

Join the shard Google Drive Folder titled “YL Leadership (your name)”

Upload Signed Volunteer Leader Job Description, Volunteer Leader Application, & Character Reference to your Google Drive Folder

Read and sign Conduct and Leadership Agreement – upload to Google Drive Folder

Fill out Area Leadership Google Form

Check your email for log in information for YL Access

Complete the YL Access Training: New Volunteer Training

Wyldlife Leaders complete YL Access Training: WYL Kids are Unique, Building Relationships with Parents and Adults in WYL Ministry

Purchase “The Personality of Jesus” and start reading it

Step 4 – Contact Work

Complete the YL Access Training: Contact Work

Wyldlife Leaders complete YL Access Training: The Basics of WYL Contact Work

Set the goal: “In 90 Days I will be able to identify 10 kids that I want to develop a significant relationship with.”

Start a 50 Kid Challenge (record names of kids)

Step 4– Club and Club Talks

Complete the YL Access Training: Club

Complete the YL Access Training: Talks

Wyldlife Leaders complete YL Access Training: The Elements of WYL Club

Visit a club with a Staff Member and talk about how they plan and run club

Step 5 – Camp
