Our annually-published CPD updates are designed to meet the needs of CILEx members. Our subject-specific updates each attract four hours’ CPD for Associate and Graduate Members of CILEx, and can meet the planned entry requirements for Fellows. The professionalism modules can be used to meet this element of the CPD requirement for all grades of member. Please see the detailed CPD Guidance Notes on to confirm the requirements for your level of membership.
The updates are available in electronic format only, and are made available via our Student Area. Publication of all updates will take place during spring 2018 for the CPD year which ends on 30 September 2018. Pre-orders will be processed, and invoices despatched, when materials are available. The receipt of the invoice will indicate that the update is available on the Student Area. You will be sent login details by email if you are a new CILEx Law School customer, otherwise you should use your existing login details. The CPD updates will remain on the Student Area for a period of six months from the date on which your order is processed. No refunds will be given.

CILEx Law School (CLS) is committed to respecting the personal data you supply to us. In order for CLS to deliver your course, we will need to use your data to:
- Hold the information you have supplied on the joint management information system used by the CILEx Group (CILEx, CILEx Regulation, CILEx Group Services and CLS) to be used only for the purposes of processing your application and administering your course.
CLS works with a number of software and other suppliers in order to deliver our services to you. The organisations we share your data with may include, but may not be limited to:
- our virtual learning environment software, which we refer to as the Student Area (SA), so you can access and use its functionality. Your name may be displayed to other students enrolled on the same course and will be displayed to other students enrolled with CLS if you post on any of the online Forums. CLS staff will have access to data on your SA usage and activities;
- the email and survey tool software we use to issue mass communications, including surveys.
Data protection legislation gives you a number of rights relating to the use of your data. Please refer to our Data Protection and Privacy policies, which can be found on our website, for further information and contact details should you have any questions or concerns.

Access to the Student Area: No refund or compensation will be given for periods of non-availability of the Student Area.
