Wincro Metal Industries Ltd manufacture a wide range of corrosion resistant fixings, produced using high quality grade 1.4301 (304) stainless steel. Grade 1.4401 (316) stainless steel can be specified for use in corrosive environments. The range is designed to satisfy most standard masonry to masonry, masonry to concrete and masonry to steel work applications.

Wincro’s Technical Design Team are available to discuss and produce bespoke ties to customer specific requirements. Wincro can also provide a design and specification service and it is recommended that they are consulted early in the design process.

Type / Steelwork Ties / Fixings
Description: / Wincro produce a variety of wall ties for used in Steel Frame buildings. The
range includes;
·  Wincro WTS4H – Safe ended Half twist tie with two 6mm outer and a central 7mm fixing hole for fixing onto vertical face of a column. Available in six sizes from 175mm to 300mm.
·  Wincro WTW2H - Wire tie with welded vertical plate with two 6mm outer
and a central 7mm fixing hole. Available in 3 lengths from 150-200mm.
·  Wincro WTW2U - Frame cramp with flexible wire tie end with two 6mm
outer and a central 7mm fixing hole. Available in 4 lengths from 100-
200mm.
·  Wincro WTUC Universal Column tie – Designed to fit onto a column
flange with appropriate notch sizes and to provide an effective restraint
between the inner and outer leaves of masonry cavity walls. Available in
2 lengths of 152mm and 205mm. Exceed the requirements for a type 2
tie to BS 5628-1.
·  Wincro WTS3UC – Offset Angle tie. Provides a solution for tying offset
masonry back to steelwork by the use of an offset angle section with
welded tie at the required angle/offset. Angle cleat features an 8x30mm
fixing slot as standard and the tie can be used with the WDS debonding
