STANDARD GRANT CONDITIONS
Please note: that grants made by TheValley to Coast CharitableTrust are regarded as gifts for the purposes of GST legislation and therefore not subject to GST
1. USE OF GRANT: The Grant recipient will use the whole of the Grant exclusively for the Project as described in the application and not for any other purpose. The Grant recipient will promptly advise The Valley to Coast Charitable Trust (“the Grantor”) of any material change which may affect the Grant recipient's ability to undertake or complete the Project within the Specified Period. The Grant recipient will expend the Grant only within the region specified, namely the Hunter, Central Coast, Manning and New England regions of NSW. Applicants must be domiciled in Australia.
2. TIMEFRAME: The Grant recipient will use its best endeavour to complete the Project within the specified period for which the grant is provided. The recipient must contact The Grantor should they require an extension to complete a Project.
3. PAYMENT: The Grant recipient where in receipt of a multi-year grant will provide (the Grantor) a satisfactory progress report and an Invoice to The Grantor. Details of specific requirements will be set out in the funding letter. Subsequent payments are subject to a satisfactory report.
4. ACCOUNTS: The Grant recipient will show the Grant separately in its books of account and keep records adequate to enable the use of grant funds to be checked readily.
5. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: The Grant recipient will acknowledge the assistance of the Valley to Coast Charitable Trust in any published or display material, as set out in the successful funding notification.
6. REPORT: The Grant recipient will give the Grantor a final report at the end of the Specified Period and, if the Project is completed after the Specified Period, within two months of completion of the Project. Specific reporting requirements are set out in the successful funding notification.
7. REFUND: If the Recipient is unable to complete the Project as described in the application, please let us know as the Valley to Coast Charitable Trust may require any unused portions of the Grant to be repaid.
