Terms and Conditions for use of Stage Trailer

  1. Only Scouts Australia NSW members with a valid driver’s licence may transport the trailer. If you are unable to transport the trailer NSW Branch Rover Council can arrange for transportation at your cost.
  1. The booking for the Stage will be confirmed 14 days prior to the date on the designated form.
  1. The booking form must be signed and returned as outlined. The person signing the form will make sure that the all persons listed on this form have been made aware of these terms and conditions.
  1. The cost of using the stage is outlined in the fee structure. This cost only applies to the days the stage are used, not travel and set up days. Your Group/crew/committee will be invoiced accordingly.
  1. Pick up and return date, time and location must be confirmed by contacting NSW BRC.
  1. The trailer and associated equipment must be inspected and signed for on collection and inspected on return. Please allow 30 minutes for this exercise. Your Group/crew/Committee will be invoiced for any damage sustained that is not considered normal wear and tear.
  1. The trailer must be used appropriately and any damage to the trailer out of the ordinary course of use must be reported immediately e.g. stolen, accident or structural damage to the stage.
  1. Transport from the pickup point and return is the responsibility of the user. A vehicle with a towing capacity of at least 2000kg is required. The towbar must also be rated to at least 2000kg. The towing capacity needs to be stated on the tow bar if fitted after it was manufactured. The centre staff cannot allow the stage to leave unless these requirements have been met.
  1. The BRC will not be liable for damage to the tow vehicle caused by the Stage Trailer.
  1. The stage must be used in line with all relevant scouting policies and in line with the operations manual that comes with the stage.
