Stage 1: Skills Right & Left (no cover garment required)

Location: LH side of Bay 1

Scoring: Limited Vickers (18)

Set-up: 2 IDPA, 1 NT, 3 stands, 6 uprights, barricade

Directions: Gun loaded to IDPA capacity. Standing center of barricade facing down range. No cover garment is needed.

String 1: Gun in weak hand at a 45 degree angle down range. On signal engage T1 – T2 with three (3) rounds each weak hand only from the weak hand side of the barricade. Shooter may not use the barricade as support. BUG shoots 2 rounds per target.

Reholster hot

String 2: Facing down range, hands touching the sides of the barricade. Upon signal engage T1 & T2 with three (3) rounds each, strong hand only from the strong hand side of the barricade only. A slide lock reload is required and may be done with both hands. Shooter may not use the barricade as support. . BUG shoots 2 rounds per target.

Reload if you choose and reholster

String 3: Facing down range, hands touching the sides of the barricade. Upon signal engage T2 freestyle with three (3) rounds from the right side of the barricade, then engage the T1 freestyle with three (3) from the left hand side of the barricade. A reload is not required. Shooter may not use the barricade as support. BUG shoots 2 rds from the left and 2 rounds from the right.

You are exiting your vehicle and have a grocery bag in your weak arm and vehicle keys in your strong hand. Three armed bad guys are approaching you to rob you of your car and groceries.

Stage 2: Don’t Take My Groceries

Location: RH side of Bay 1

Scoring: Vickers (8)

Set-up: 1 vehicle, 3 stands, 6 uprights, 3 IDPA, 3 shirts, grocery bag with an assortment of items. A key ring with keys.

Directions: starting at Position A, gun loaded to IDPA, grocery bag in weak arm and key rings in strong hand. On signal engage T1 strong hand only with 2 rounds. Drop grocery bag and move to position B and use the drivers side of the vehicle for cover and engage T2 & T3 with three rounds each in tactical priority. BUG engages T1 with 1 round and T2 & T3 with 2 rounds each.

Stage Name 3: New Year Cheer (no cover garment required)

Location: LH side of Bay 2

Scoring: Limited Vickers (12)

Set-up: 6 IDPA, 2 NT, 1 table, 2 shirts. Align the target so shoot thorough on T1 & T2 do not hit the rest of the targets.

Directions: Gun loaded to IDPA, standing at table edge, hands relaxed at your sides. No cover garment is needed.

String 1: draw and engage T1 & T2 with 1 round from retention position, then engage the remaining targets strong hand only with 1 round each in tactical priority (near to far). BUG shoots T2 then T3-T6 with 1 round each.

String 2: Start with gun in weak hand in retention position. On signal, engage T1 & T2 from retention with 1 round, then using weak hand engage T3-T6 with 1 round each in tactical priority (near to far). BUG shoots T1, then T3-T6 with one round each.

Stage 4: ATM Surprise

Location: RH side of Bay 2

Scoring: Vickers (9)

Set-up: 4 IDPA, Velcro dots attached to the targets and cardboard sets of hands (2), a knife, 2 guns and a stun gun, 1 barricade, 1 mirror. For BUG shooters only two targets are threat, with other two set as NT’s.

Directions: Gun loaded to IDPA & holstered. After gun is loaded turn and face the barrel (position A) and using the mirror watch as your friends mess with your targets. On signal turn and engage the threat targets only with 1 round each, then move to cover (position B) and re-engage the targets with 2 more rounds each (BUG 1 round more each from cover). Cover behind the barrel means having one knee touching the ground and shooting from either side of the barrel, not over the top.

Stage Name 5: Reaction Times (no cover garment required)

Designer: Randy B. Oxford IWL IDPA, Oxford, Ohio

Location: LH side of Bay 3

Scoring: Limited Vickers (6)

Set-up: 1 IDPA at 3 yards, starting line, shirt on the target. 3 extra targets. Replace the target as needed.

Directions: Gun loaded to IDPA capacity. No cover garment is needed

String One; Draw and double-tap the target

String Two, begin with gun pointed at the target and with finger ON the trigger; at start signal double-tap the target free style.

String Three, begin with the gun in the weak hand pointed at the target with finger on the trigger. On signal double tap the target.

Stage 6: Beyond the Wall

Location: RH side of Bay 3

Scoring: Vickers (12)

Set-up: 1 barrel, 6 tubes, 6 IDPA, 1 NT

Directions: Gun loaded to IDPA, facing away from T1 & T2. On signal engage T1 & T2 while retreating with two rounds each, then from cover engage the remaining targets with two rounds each. BUG engages T1 & T2 with one (1) round each while retreating and the remaining targets with two (2) rounds each.

Stage 7: Distance Standards

Location: Bay 4 (Alley)

Scoring: Limited Vickers (18)

Set-up: 1 chair, 1 table, 3 IDPA, 3 stands, 6 uprights.

Directions: Gun loaded with 6 rounds, no cover garment is needed. Gun starts holstered for strings 1 and 2.

String 1: On signal engage the 20 yd target freestyle with 6 rounds.

String 2: On signal engage the 10 yard target strong hand only with 6 rounds.

String 3: Start with the gun in weak hand, safety off and finger out of trigger guard. On signal engage the 7 yards target weak hand only with 6 rounds.

BUG shoots 5 rounds at each distance.

S.O. Change targets after each squad.

Stage 8: The Park Bench

Designer: Randy B, Oxford IWL, Oxford, Ohio

Location: Bay 4 (barroom)

Scoring: Vickers (6)

Set-up: Bench, 3 IDPA, 1 set at 5 yards and the other two targets at 10 yards

Directions: Gun loaded to IDPA capacity. Load and holster gun while standing, then sit on bench with hands on knees. On signal and from seated position on bench, draw and engage the targets in tactical priority and tactical sequence with two rounds each. T1 must be engaged again first after all the targets have been engaged one time.

BUG shoots 1 round on the head of T1, then two each on T2 & T3 in tactical sequence.

S.O. Warn the shooter about not sweeping their leg as they draw their guns. Gun should be loaded and holstered while standing.
