ST. XAVIER TIGER RUN

Dear Coach:
St.XavierHigh School is extending an invitation to your school’s boys and girls cross country team(s) to participate in the TIGER RUN. It will again be held at the Old River Road Country Club on Saturday, August 30, 2008. The Course is flat and fast. This meet has been sanctioned by the National Federation of State High Schools Association. Your check and entry sheet should arrive no later than Monday August 25, 2008, since all entries will close with our mail delivery that day. Entries are limited to the first 35 teams in each race. In the middle school division, a team consists of up to 6 runners, scoring the first 4 finishers. In the high school division, a team may consist of up to 10 runners, scoring the teams first five finishers. Because of the size of the fields for each race, no school may enter more than two teams per race in either the middle school or high school divisions. Middle School is considered to be grades 6-8. Seniors may run in the B-Squad race. Each competitor can run in only one race. BECAUSE OF THE NEW KHSAA RULE WHERE ALL ATHLETIC COMPETITION MUST STOP IF THE HEAT INDEX IS GREATER THAN 104 DEGREES, WE HAVE DECIDED TO RUN OUR RACES IN A DIFFERENT ORDER WHERE WE MAKE SURE THAT THE VARSITY RACES WILL BE RUN. WE FEEL THAT IF RACES NEED TO BE CANCELLED, THEY SHOULDN’T BE THE VARSITY RACES. IF NEED BE WE CAN RUN THE BOYS B-SQUAD AND THE BOYS FRESHMAN TOGETHER AND HAVE THEM FINISH IN DIFFERENT CHUTES. REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR ALL CANCELLED RACES.

Bus parking will be on the River Road Country Club site. All other parking will be at the Water Tower across the street.
DIRECTIONS
From I-64 going east – exit I-64 onto I-71 north. Exit I-71 onto Zorn Ave north. The River Road Country Club is immediately on the left and the water tower is straight ahead.
From I-64 west going west – exit I-64 onto the Waterson Expressway (I-264) north. Stay on the Waterson and it turns into I-71 south. Exit I-71 onto Zorn Ave north. The River Road Country Club is immediately on the left and the Water Tower is straight ahead.
From I-65 north or south – exit I-65 onto I –71 north (towards Cincinnati). Exit I-71 onto Zorn Ave north. The River Road Country Club is immediately on the left and the Water Tower is straight ahead.
From I-71 south - Exit I-71 onto Zorn Ave north. The River Road Country Club is immediately on the left and the Water Tower is straight ahead.
