REGISTRATION DUE September 1st.
The following 4 classes are available (all classes 3:30-4:30):
DRAMA JUNIOR (1st class September 12th)
Who: Any students in 1st -3rd Grades
When: Mondays
ADVANCED DRAMA JUNIOR (1st class September 14th)
Who: Previous drama junior students in 2nd through 4th grade
(note: students in 4th that have taken drama junior have the option of advanced drama junior or basic drama senior)
When: Wednesdays
DRAMA SENIOR (1st class September 6th)
Who: Any students in 4th-7th Grades
When: Tuesdays
ADVANCED DRAMA SENIOR (1st class September 8th)
Who: Previous drama senior students in 5th-7th grade
When: Thursdays
DRAMA JUNIOR and DRAMA SENIOR
What: Learn basic theatre skills through various activities and games that cover acting techniques, backstage concepts and discussions of general theatre knowledge. Some rehearsed monologue work, audition pointers/workshops, art inclusive activities and play discussions will also be featured. Great for building self-esteem, confidence, focus and cooperation skills.
Fee: $75 (Fee is a one-time fee for the year and includes all materials and supplies needed for the class, and upkeep of supplies.)
ADVANCED DRAMA JUNIOR
What: Continue to develop theatre skills in a more in depth atmosphere, concentrating on rehearsed monologue work, in-class scenes, trial auditions, art inclusive activities, play readings and discussions. A monologue and scene book for young actors will also be provided. Great for building self-esteem, confidence, focus and cooperation skills.
Fee: $85 - includes all materials and supplies needed for the class, and upkeep of supplies, and a book of plays/scenes.
ADVANCED DRAMA SENIOR
What: Continue to develop theatre skills in a more in depth atmosphere, concentrating on rehearsed monologue and scene work, trial auditions, art inclusive activities, play readings and discussions. Theatre games will continue to help teach various acting skills and backstage aspects of theatre. The students will also have the opportunity to develop an audition portfolio that will consist of various monologues and/or songs that they can use for different auditions and how to develop a theatre resume. Backstage concepts will also be covered more in depth and students will learn about reading and cutting costume patterns, theatrical make-up, various painting techniques used in set/prop design, prop building and script analysis. Great for building self-esteem, confidence, focus and cooperation skills.
Fee: $100 - includes all materials and supplies needed for the class, including art materials-scripts-rehearsal props/costume pieces and upkeep of all supplies. Also the following will be provided to each student: A theatrical make-up kit and wig cap.

No one will be allowed to attend class until they have turned in a completed form with full payment. Retain the top part of this page for your information. Information regarding our Fall Play auditions will be sent out separately – the production is separate from drama class. PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR AN EMAIL ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED YOUR CHILD FOR DRAMA.
