ST. PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP 2012
On the 24th of January, 2012 the Fifth St. Petersburg International Workshop organized by the North-West Division of the Russian Union of Travel Industry and the Association of National Tourist OfficeRepresentatives (ANTOR) in Russia will take place at SokosHotelPalaceBridge.
Five years is a small jubilee, but still!
The event traditionally opens new professional tourist season in Russia. Its aim, as it was before, is to provide travel business in the North-West region of Russia with new contacts and opportunities of countries and destinations, introduce new infrastructure, new hotels, and programs, and contribute to a rise of tourist flow.
From the experience of past years it could be said that the event becomes prominent in the city’s tourist life.
In 2012 organizers slightly amend the program of Workshop, which will consist now from two parts, considering both time and venue. Thefisthalfofworkdayfrom 11 a.m. to2p.m. will be dedicated to meetings and activities in the frames of Workshop. After coffee or lunch break the members of ANTOR and involved tourist enterprises will hold from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. master classes on various kinds of rest in terms of their countries and regions in the frames of ANTORAcademy. The program of presentation is to be announced. The second part of Workshop will be held simultaneously to the Academy. The participants of Workshop will be situated in the grand Ball room of SokosHotelPalaceBridge, the speeches of «academics» and their presentations will be run in the Jazz Hall. Organizers hope that such form of event responds to the utmost to current demands of tourist business.
For participation we invite: national tourist offices, hotels and hotel chains, information tourist centers, representatives of North-West Russian tourist administrations, foreign and Russian tourist operators, congress bureaus and centers, exhibition and congress event contractors, airlines, cruise companies, transport firms, resort and sport centers, SPA resorts, consulting and insurance companies, professional tourism publications and electronic media, all Russian and foreign companies working in tourism industry.
As the year before, participant catalogue will include not only exponents, but registered visitors and talking points of presentations and master classes as well.
