2017-2018 Scholarship Information & Application

Recognizing that many persons wish to attend college, vocational, or technical school, but do not have the necessary funds or qualify for academic scholarships, a scholarship program has been established through Saint Paul United Methodist Church of Amarillo by the McCord Foundation.

Applications will be received and considered through April 10th without regard to age or current academic classification. Scholarships will be awarded by May 10th for the following academic year and will be paid on a semester basis. Recipients will be selected by the Saint Paul Scholarship Committee, whose decision will be final.

To be considered for a Saint Paul Scholarship, a person should:

 Have a demonstrated need for financial assistance.

 Have a demonstrated desire to receive a degree from a college, vocational or technical school.

 Be an active member of a local church.

 Complete the attached form. No other forms will be considered for this scholarship.
