Thursday 13 July, 1:45pm in St. Margaret’s Church: Thursday Afternoon Singers – We are a welcoming group with members from both the church and the wider community who meet to sing straight-forward songs at an easy relaxed pace. You don’t need to be able to read music, simply the desire to sing and if you can’t make every week, that’s more than OK. The only qualification is to be aged between 0 and 100!! Free of charge including tea and coffee afterwards. Simply turn up at 1:45 – entrance via the Lady Chapel door to the right of the main entrance.
We are celebrating our Patronal Festival on Sunday 16 July this year, and following the Parish Eucharist there will be a shared Parish Feast in the Vicarage Garden (in church if wet). Do come along from 12:30pm for grace at 1:00pm and bring some food to share. There is a list on the round table at the back of church to give an idea of numbers and what food you might bring. Soft drinks will be provided but adults might like to bring something stronger. More information from .

You are most welcome to come along to find out more about our work in the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Sir Michael Sobell House, the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital, and the Horton Hospital at Banbury.

The Archway Foundation is an Oxford-based charity working with lonely, socially isolated and marginalized people. It is organising a training workshop at Headington Baptist Church on Saturday 23 September from 9:30am and finishing at 12:30pm. It is on the theme of “The Loneliness of Loss” and it will be offering guidance on the pastoral support of those experiencing loneliness and isolation. There is no charge but a donation to help cover the cost of the day would be appreciated. Booking is essential. For further details please email .
