St.Luke’s Day Healing Service.

Tuesday 18th October, 7.00pm at St.George’s Church.

On St.Luke’s Day this year we will be holding a service of healing: healing for ourselves and for our world. Derek and Jane Waller, our mission partners in South Sudan, will be joining us for the evening and speaking.

There will be intercessions for the healing of South Sudan as well as opportunities for personal prayer for healing in the Trinity Chapel.

After the service there will be refreshments and an opportunity for questions with Derek and Jane.

ALL SAINTS PATRONAL FESTIVAL - SUNDAY 30th OCTOBER

IN THE MEMORIAL HALL, 12.30pm

We would like to welcome you to a hot lunch. Caterers will be supplying the Main Course, but we would be grateful if you were able to bring puddings (As usual lists in church). Tickets for the lunch, to be paid for in advance, will be £8.00 per person and available at the Harvest Lunch and from Linda Baker.

Please note change to usual arrangements for this Patronal Lunch, that tickets needed to be purchased for this event as soon as possible.

ROAD CLOSURE ON SUNDAY 9TH OCTOBER.

Next Sunday there is a half marathon taking place in Salisbury. The road race will be going through the city centre, alongside Churchfields Industrial estate, Quidhampton, Netherhampton, Harnham and Cathedral Close. The runners will be doing two laps of this route.

As a result of this, they are closing one lane of the main road for the runners. You will only be able to travel west bound through Harnham between 12noon and 3.30pm.

WELCOME! If you are visiting, or a newcomer to the parish, please make yourself known to a sides-person or one of the clergy after the service as we would like to welcome you personally.

You are invited to receive communion with us. If you would prefer a prayer or blessing, please bring a book with you to the altar so that we shall know. If you would like to receive communion in your pew please let a churchwarden know before the service begins.

Should you wish to support the church financially there are gift aid envelopes in the church, or alternatively you may prefer to give to the collection during the offertory hymn. The money goes towards the work of the Parish. 5% of this collection will support other Christian charities.
