Congratulations to first grader, Caeden Corbin, who took 1st place in his division at the State Wrestling Championship last weekend. Awesome accomplishment, Caeden!!!

Last week at recess, I noticed one of our kindergartener students, Riley Okoniewski, on the playground by herself. She had her hands folded and her lips were moving. When I asked what she was doing, she told me that she was praying. She went on to explain that, “I’m praying that St. JohnSchool will be a nice place.” Love, love, love this!!!

During our daily recycling walk, 3rd graders Eugene Ziepiela shared with me, “I’m glad I’m Catholic and I go to a CatholicSchool. If I wasn’t Catholic, I wouldn’t know about this God stuff. I wouldn’t know to pray. When I pray, it helps me and I can do better.” Prayer helps me, too, Eugene!

ATTENTION MAGAZINE PATRONS: - Anyone with a problem receiving the subscriptions that they ordered this past year, please contact me and we will get them fixed. Because of the problems already experienced in November, I started looking for another company to work with. I was very pleased to hear that QSP sold the magazine division of their company to the exact same company that I was looking at for next year. I am pleased to say that whatever problems I have presented to Great American they have speedily resolved. I look forward to working with this “employee-owned” company that gives great customer service. Thank you for your patience and understanding and I am excited and looking forward to next year.
