Description: A USDA authorized blend of active bacteria and enzymes that dissolves grease, fats, starch and protein. For use in sinks, toilets, drains, garbage disposals, grease traps, etc. Perfect as a maintenance product. Dry powder activates with water. Salmonella free. Concentrated Bacteria-Enzyme System for Sewage Digestion. Biologically breaks down and digests mixtures of organic greases, fats, protein materials, oil, hair and other waste materials. Reduces organic solids to liquids, reduces overloading of systems, reduces maintenance costs, eliminates stoppages and eliminates odors. Drain Maintainer 4 contains a high anaerobic and aerobic bacterial activity, having a minimum of 1 1/2 billion colonies per gram of product, plus a high count of facultative types of bacteria. Non-acid, non-caustic, non-toxic, non-corrosive. Liquefies standard wastes, eliminates odor. Hydrolyzes proteins, reduces sludge volume. Reduces suspended solids, greater digestive capacity. Demonstrations: Cat Food Demo:
Obtain 2 containers numbered 1 and 2. Dry Cat food and water. This is representative of carbohydrates, proteins, starches, fats, greases and oils, which occur in drains, lines, traps and septic tanks.
1. Add to container #1, two oz. of your product and 6 oz. of water. Add 5 to 6 pieces of dry cat food.
2. Observe after 10 - 15 minutes how the cat food has been broken down (liquefied). If possible compare to competitors product.
Odor Control Demo:
Obtain one container, ammonia, yellow food coloring, and some water.
1. Add a small amount of ammonia with the yellow food coloring to the water to simulate urine.
2. Note odor. Add your product to container and note that the odor is eliminated.
Grease Demo:
Obtain three containers, numbered 1, 2, and 3. Melt down some Crisco and add some food dye for coloring and let it re-solidify, and put in a hypodermic type applicator. This is representative of the grease, oils and fats that occur in drains, lines, etc.
1. Add 8 oz. of water to container #1. Dispense 1/2" ribbon of demo grease into container #1, showing how grease is not soluble in water.
2. In container #2 add 2 - 4 oz. of your product and 6 oz. of water. Again, dispense 1/2" ribbon of demonstration grease into container.
3. Watch for 60 to 90 seconds. Note how bubbles develop immediately around the grease followed by grease liquefaction.
