This 8-hour course takes communicators 'behind the scenes' of what is going on in officer’s and caller’s minds. The course looks at how perceptions control decision making, the process we all go through to make those decisions and how those decisions effect the outcome of an event.
The course also looks at the legal, moral and ethical ramifications of what is communicated in a public safety environment using case studies, court cases and other media to show communicators in graphic detail what happens on the other side of the microphone.
