I.JOB IDENTIFICATION

A.JOB TITLE: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

B.SUPERVISOR: Vice President, Talent Operations

C.ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: Assist with the administration of the company’s employee benefit programs. Manage company job descriptions and job training lists. Assist in the development and administration of Talent Operations policies and procedures. Assist in the administrationof the HRIS system.

II.JOB QUALIFICATIONS

A. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent education or experience.

B. EXPERIENCE:

  1. Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in employee benefit and compensation planning, human resource administration duties and general human resource practices.
  2. Familiar with PC computers, Windows, word processors, spreadsheet applications.

C. GENERAL:

  1. Highly analytical and detail oriented.
  2. Ability to organize, prioritize work and manage multiple projects accurately.
  3. Must be able to work in an environment with constant interruptions and continually changing priorities.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all employees using tact and diplomacy.

III.JOB FUNCTIONS

A. SPECIFIC:

  1. Work closely with Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist to ensure quality benefit and compensation programs and coordinate all employee benefits related meetings and communication.
  2. Coordinate certain talent operations related duties: new employee orientation and processing of new hire related documentation; termination forms and procedures; payroll related records; human resource files; wage garnishments; workers comp processing; and other assigned duties.
  3. Assists employees concerning insurance related issues.
  4. Performs compensation and benefits administrative reporting and duties, including review and approval of monthly premium statements and other related insurance initiatives.
  5. Maintains assigned confidential management reports and completes assigned mandated reporting.
  6. Co-Administrator of the HRIS system functions including installation, maintenance and interface with the payroll system.
  7. Stays current with laws/regulations affecting compensation and benefits related issues and recommends new/revised procedures as appropriate.
  8. Assists in coordinating various employee seminars and/or learning forums concerning education of employee benefit programs, policies and related topics.
  9. Lead for Workers Compensation claims filing & recordkeeping as instructed by Director of Facilities & Corporate Safety.

B. GENERAL:

  1. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops related to employee benefits. Review professional publications related to employee benefits. Shares knowledge with management.
  2. Other job related duties as required or as assigned.
