  • Yes, there was a lot of time for Q&A (5)
  • The board made sure there was enough time for everyone to participate by allowing a good time for questions.
  • Yes, activities and Q&A is great, still learning

10. Indicate one thing you would add/change about the Sunday Training Sesssion.

  • More time for “Partnering with VR”
  • Unsure. Very helpful!
  • More time for Chris & Commissioner; more small group time 1:1 with Chris/Commissioner
  • The powerpoint for the RSA website should be enlarged.
  • Presenter need to have adequate materials to distribute in order to facilitate discussion. TA Center presenter did not provide a slide presentation or handouts.
  • Time
  • Maureen McGuire – needs slides or handouts and bullet point information. I was unable to capture the titles and focus points and I really wanted to share this information.
  • Handout for each presenter even if its just talking points (2)
  • Nothing – well done!
  • Bring back continental breakfast
  • I would prefer continental breakfast more than an afternoon snack
  • N/A (2)
  • Maybe add an SSA presentation. Not every time, maybe every other conference or so.
  • Nothing. It was good info and I learned a lot from these 2 days – Thanks! (2)
  • It was very good
  • Try to regulate the cooling system, it became very warm.
  • Add SRC 101 for new members
  • RSA discussion around employer engagement forums very interesting; how can SRCs engage in similar efforts given the emphasis placed on this through WIOA? Would be interesting to hear about employer/business efforts at a future conference.
  • I personally enjoyed the chance to hear how other councils are resolving issues and sharing information.
  • Incorporate videoconferencing capabilities for SRCs that are unable to attend because of restrictions to travel. I can only imagine how other perspectives would improve the conversation.
  • Try to encourage external participants to provide materials at time of presentation if not able to provide in advance.

11. Indicate one thing you would keep about the SundayTraining Session.

  • Partnering with VR; would be helpful to have copies of any PPT presentations from other parties available at conference; better for notetaking purposes; Maybe consider doing a “table shuffle” after lunch each day to encourage attendees to interact with others. Really enjoyed the people at my table but didn’t really talk much with others.
  • Everything was very beneficial to me; consider videotaping/archiving conference for those who may not be able to front $ to attend.
  • Q&A
  • RSA Website, Chris, Commissioner
  • Well done!
  • CSAVR update! (2)
  • Partnering with VR
  • Continue with the VR Director/SRC Chair panel; ALWAYS have Chris Pope! Great resource.
  • Chris Pope – he made some of these confusing programs understandable. Loved the website information
  • Liked the way you hand out with room to take notes.
  • CSAVR udpate encourages and supports SRC/VR Partnership
  • RSA specific information – ex: like Pope Presentation.
  • Information about RSA as how it relates to SRC.
  • N/A
  • RSA and CSAVR updates
  • RSA involvement
  • RSA Commissioner
  • This hotel is not accessible (stairs and elevators). Check in process is long & horrible. Hilton in Alexandria is much better!
  • Chris Pope, website info, interactive panel
  • Panel presentation was effective. RSA website appears to provide excellent resource/reference information.
  • Panel discussion was good, RSA Commissioner and consultant was good as well.
  • Ms. Labreck, Steve Wooderson and Chris Pope provided very useful information and plenty of homework for me. Our SRC will be looking forward to the new opportunities as aresult of WIOA. Lots of Ah-Ha moments – thank you! For next conference (November) comparison charts of relevant issues, topics etc.
  • All!
  • Interactive sessions
