Weekend @ the Mecca!!!

April 2012

Dear Student/Parent:

On behalf of the HUAA – Atlanta Club, welcome to the 21stannual bus trip to Howard University!

Each year, Howard looks forward to our arrival and this year is no exception. Over the last week, I have personally talked with numerous Deans, Professors, and Administrators. All have expressed overwhelming support for our event.

To the high school students:

College is an important decision to make. Take full advantage of this trip. Talk to as many people as you can about their experience. Ask questions. Collect materials. Really take inventory of HowardUniversity.

To the Parents:

Please be assured that the Alumni Association has gone to great lengths to provide an informative, educational, yet safe opportunity for your son or daughter to live the “Howard Experience.” If you need to contact us, we are a phone call away – (678-517-6050Autrellia Parks).

Thanks again for your interest in attending the MECCA of black education….

HOWARD UNIVESITY!

Sincerely,

Autrellia Parks

  • Meals on campus are offered between 7:00-9:00 am for breakfast, 11:00-2:00pm for lunch and 4:00-7:00pm for dinner. Near campus, there are other eateries including McDonalds & Subway. Budget $5-10 per meal and any additional spending change for souvenirs, etc.
