Presentation

Since I received Sphere Training when I joined one training of trainer that conducted by the IFRC with jointly organized by MRCS as a youth volunteer and trainer of Red Cross across the country with 2004-version. I conducted several trainings for the Red Cross Volunteers in the contact of emergency and other development activities. I work with Central Trainer Team of Myanmar Red Cross Society National Head-Quarters for a long days work.
In May 2011, I received one training opportunities that coordinated and hosted by inter-agencies who work for Humanitarian actions in Myanmar. I joined this training-of-trainer as a member of Accountability and Learning Group (ALWG) that ALWG give a chance to join in this Sphere Training-of-Trainers conducted by Anne Lloyd (Lead Trainer/Consultant) for the Sphere Project.
After finishing my training, I reported to my Management that we have to appoint one focal point to Sphere for the good practices in Sphere minimum standards in our humanitarian and aid works. My Management agreed and requested to the Sphere for the Focal point to me. Sphere office in Geneva welcome and agreed for this appointment of focal point for Sphere Initiatives.
As a Director of Programme, I am a member of Senior Management Team and that lead to programme quality team (PQT) to ensure quality and accountability of our programme works. I take part the programme design, monitoring and evaluation. As so far, we have a mandatory work to support the CSO movement so call as CSO Strengthening initiatives in Myanmar and conduct several trainings and workshops that provide to NGO staff and volunteer as well as community-based organizations to ensure the aid-workers competencies.
For me, I work with across UN Bodies, INGO and NGOs as a OD Practitioner and Freelance-Training Consultant in the large-range of improvements for CSO movement in Myanmar.
I myself avail for the serving as a Focal Point that spread the words of Sphere in Myanmar. I will work together with inter-agency trainers team for the Sphere initiatives in Myanmar, ALWG and other stake holders (including government) to get better practices in Sphere that initiated in their humanitarian works in near future.
