Week 5 Summer 2017
This week we have continued OUR PARK TOPIC with a focus on local parks, in particular Marton Park.
Our learning Science this week involved being stranded on a desert island. All children were able to name what, as human beings, we need to survive – shelter, water, food and warmth.
Home learning for this week, is as follows: Take a look at Google Earth – (you should get your parents’ permission to do this first!) – In class this week we looked at our school and tracked our journey to Marton Park. Some children have already looked at aerial views and 3D versions of favourite holiday destinations and places they like to visit.

A school reader is issued For those children who have been given flashcards, please continue using them. It is great to see you adding short comments in their reading diary too. Signatures are awarded to children who have read outside school time and updated their reading diary accordingly. As always, your time and effort in supporting your child’s learning is much appreciated.
