GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

About the Journal

SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER. Journal for theory and practice of special education is peer-reviewed scientific journal of Department of Special Education, Faculty of Education, University of Prešov in Prešov (Slovak Republic). The periodicity of publishing is published twice a year (February and September) at University of Prešov Publishing.

Deadline for submission of manuscripts is two months before publishing of next issue – 30th November and 30th June. Special Education Teacher welcomes a variety of manuscript types: scientific, scholarly and methodical studies (5 – 8 pages), interviews (max. 3 pages), reports and book reviews. The aim of the journal is to inform the professional public about the research activities, trends and news related to teaching and education of children with special educational needs.

All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by two peer reviewers who are familiar with the specific subject matter. When necessary, articles may receive additional review to ensure accuracy and usefulness. The Editorial Board is deciding on articles selected for concrete issue. Manuscript of the journal Special Education Teacher is approved by Editorial Board of University of Prešov Publishing.

Special Education Teacher publishes only original papers. Manuscripts can not be published previously and can not be under consideration by another publication. The journal retains all rights to works published in print and online.

Authors are asked to respect the following guidelines for the format of manuscripts.
