COURSE DESCRIPTION

Research on how we learn has proven that we remember better and longer what we have actually experienced physically. Gesturing and acting out commands will help you acquire the language more quickly. Another very powerful way to acquire language is through stories or narrative.

Spanish III continues to build proficiency through TPRS, with increased opportunity for storytelling and developing more advanced language skills. Students will continue to develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The course also emphasizes an increased focus on reading and writing through mini-novels and writing projects as well as cultural components.
