AMATEUR RADIO EXAMINATIONS

Volunteer Examiners will administer Amateur Radio Exams at 8:00AM in Room 108. You must bring a PHOTO ID, your ORIGINAL LICENSE and PHOTOCOPY of your LICENSE and any CERTIFICATE OF SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF EXAMINATION and PHOTOCOPY of the CSCE, and the TEST FEE of $15 for your exam. All individuals to be tested must register before testing.

SWAP TABLES

A limited number of "Swap Tables" are usually available the day of the Hamfest on a first-come/first-served basis from the Table Manager. Only prepaid tables have been reserved by the Table Manager. Remaining tables will be rented for $15 beginning at 8:00am. Neither SELARC nor SoutheasternLouisianaUniversity shall be responsible for the security of goods, vehicles or equipment used in association with the Hamfest. No New Equipment, Commercial Dealers or inappropriate goods will be allowed for sale on Swap Tables. In the event the Table Manager deems an item should not be offered for sale at a Swap Table, it must be removed or the table will be forfeited and a refund as deemed appropriate by the Hamfest Chairman will be given.Do not leave unwanted items on tables when leaving; a clean-up fee may be charged for the next year's hamfest!

PARKING & LOADING

Parking for vendors, swap tables and handicap drivers is available on the South side of the PenningtonCenter near the load-in entrance. All vehicles must be moved from the entrance immediately upon unloading. For all hamfest patrons, additional parking is available in the several lots near the hamfest site.Vehicles parked illegally or parked on the grassare subject to ticketing or towing by University Police.

PRIZES & DRAWINGS

By purchasing prize tickets you will automatically be entered into all DOOR PRIZE Drawings throughout the day, as well as the MAJOR PRIZE DRAWINGS. To claim a DOOR PRIZE, the winning ticket must be presented to SELARC officials at the drawing site before the immediate following drawing. All winning door prize tickets will be returned to the drum for a chance at the major prizes. WINNER OF THESELARC MAJOR PRIZES NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN. If not present, winner of these PRIZES will be contacted using the information as supplied on the ticket. If insufficient information is supplied, an alternate ticket will be drawn and awarded the prize in the event the winner cannot be determined within 10 days following the hamfest.
