AGENDA

Students you are responsible for having your gloves, BLACKsocks, and shoes. Also for making sure that your uniform is together with pants, coat hat. Shoes should be cleaned before Saturday morning. NO JEWELRY WILL BE WORN DURING COMPETITION. You are responsible for loading these items along with your instrument in the proper place at the proper time. The uniform is either all on or all off. You will need money for lunch.

“Fallen” show shirt will be worn when not in Full Uniform.

You must ride the bus to and from the competition. If for some extenuating circumstance, your parent/guardian will be bringing you back to London, I MUST HAVE a written explanation of the circumstance with signatures and dates and you and your parent/guardian must meet with me before we leave SLHS. Any failure to follow this procedure will result in the most severe consequences. Only parents may pick a student up during an out of town trip.

You must remain with the SLHS BAND at all times. We expect professional and courteous conduct from all band members at all times. The SLHS Band Handbook and the Laurel County Student Code of Conduct will be observed.

Directions: From 27 North / 150 West (Somerset, Mount Vernon, I-75 North exit to 150 at Mt. Vernon)

  • In Stanford follow 150 West to Danville.
  • Before you get into town turn right onto Stanford Avenue. This turn is approximately 6 miles from Stadium.
  • Follow Stanford Avenue for approximately 2.25 miles. The stadium will be on your left.
  • If you miss the Stanford Avenue turn and proceed another mile up 150 you can turn right onto Gose Pike, follow it to the light and turn left onto Stanford Avenue.
