South Forsyth Golf Boosters Fund Raiser 2014 Season
In conjunction with the South Forsyth Golf Booster Club, the South Forsyth golf team members and coaches will be hosting a "scramble" that is to be played on Monday, November 4th , 2013 at Crystal Falls Golf Club in Cherokee County, GA at 10 a.m. The students are required to find TWO 4-somes each at $100/player, $80 of which will go to our boys and girls golf programs. Mulligans are available (2 per person or 1 per 9 holes, and must be used by the individual who purchased it), they may be purchased the day of the tournament for $5 each. The format is 18-hole, 4-man scramble and is open to participants who are involved in the support of the South Forsyth Golf Program. Corporate sponsors are asked to give a minimum donation of $100.00. As an incentive, all corporate sponsors will receive a sign on a hole the day of the tournament saying that they are a major contributor to the South Forsyth Golf Program. All profits from the fund raising effort will go to the South Forsyth Golf Booster Club in an effort to further the golf program in its competitive efforts and also to purchase equipment that is costly, i.e. (golf bags, balls, clothing, shoes, tournament entry fees, accommodations, etc…) . Entry fees should be mailed to the address listed below by Friday, October 25th, 2013. Please make checks payable to SOUTH FORSYTH GOLF BOOSTERS. We need to raise this money because we are not allotted money by the school district to cover our costs for both boys and girls programs. Our costs range in the thousands of dollars. If a TAX I.D. Prizes include:
1. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place teams.
2. $5 Mulligan purchase automatically enters individual who purchased it into a blind draw raffle. Blind draw of prizes including new sets of clubs, rounds of golf, etc...
3. Box lunch for each player provided by Chic Filet.
4. Drinks provided on the course (non-alcoholic due to school sponsored function), however there will be a drink cart sponsored by Crystal Falls.
