Dear Consignors,
The South Central Llama Association is proud to announce the 22nd edition of the SCLA Llama Sale. The Sale will be held in conjunction with the Ft Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in Ft Worth, Texas on January 22nd 2010 at 5:00 pm in the West Arena. Sale Animals should be in place by Wednesday January 20th at 6:00 pm. The sale will consist of approx 50 lots of Sale animals with approx 45 females and approx.3-5 male lots, with a few Jim Graham SCLA Scholarship lots and surprise lots. All information required to be sent must be included at the time your entries are sent to be considered for sale. The entry must be postmarked by Thursday October 15th, 2009. It is of the utmost importance that you send your completed entry forms and (4) Good quality photos to be considered for your llamas. The sale will be in auction format with a reputable auctioneer. Sale animals will be stalled in a 10x10 stall area with hay available for purchase. Community tack stalls will be stalled in a SALE ALLEY for consignors. Our sale will consist of quality animals, chosen by the SCLA Sale Committee and will be run in a professional manner. We will have SCLA members to assist you throughout the SCLA sale and show. We are excited and hope you plan to attend our 2010 Sale event.
Please make note of deadline—Postmark by Oct 15th 2009 so we can get the catalog out by first week of December.
New Sale Start time—5:00pm in West Arena Go to for forms.
Must have hard copy of animal registrations –ILR before animal crosses sale arena—no exceptions.
All llama lots will sell for minimum of $500.00—nothing less; you can private treaty after sale is over. Auctioneer will not go below $500.00 they will be passed out.
Suggest bred females not be due from June 15th through Sept 15 for safety of female and unborn cria. It will not help you in the sale ring with Texas heat and summer cria. Committee has right to refuse any bred female due between July1st and Sept 15th.
If you plan to show at Ft Worth entries are due by NOVEMBER 15th 2009
