Financials: Operating Costs (South Africa partner only)
The following are guidelines for the various categories of funding
- Salaries (Admin support): Up to a maximum of R400 000 pp/pa (one person)
- Salaries (Research assistants): Up to a maximum of R100 000 pp/pa (up to three persons)
- Research equipment of infrastructure: Up to a maximum of R400 000 pa
- Running: Up to 30% of the budget
- University overhead: Up to 10% of the budget

Post-doctoral fellows (R200 000)
Doctoral (Full-time) (R100 000)
Masters (Full-time) (R70 000)
Honours (Full-time) (R40 000)
