Financials: Operating Costs (South Africa partner only)
The following are guidelines for the various categories of funding
  • Salaries (Admin support): Up to a maximum of R400 000 pp/pa (one person)
  • Salaries (Research assistants): Up to a maximum of R100 000 pp/pa (up to three persons)
  • Research equipment of infrastructure: Up to a maximum of R400 000 pa
  • Running: Up to 30% of the budget
  • University overhead: Up to 10% of the budget
