SOS Children’s Villages of India

EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP

SOS Children’s Villages of India is a voluntary organization that is dedicated to caring for parentless, homeless and abandoned children. It also works with families to strengthen the ties between parents and children, so that children don’t suffer or get abandoned because of broken homes.

SOS Children’s Villages of India have been providing a long-term care to children in need through our children’s villages. We believe that only the love of a caring mother, a family and home can help a child grow up as a self reliant and contributing member of the society.

SOS Children’s Villages of India is a member of SOS – Kinderdorf International, which is present in 132 countries.

Over the years our children have grown up to become engineers, doctors, nurses, social workers, technicians, journalists, management and IT Professionals. With love and support they received, our children are today totally independent, married and well settled in all walks of life.

Today SOS Children’s Villages of India is providing long-term family care to around 6000 children and reaching out to more than 16000 children through our allied projects and programs spread across the country. More than 3000 children have been settled and more than thousand children are married and have families of their own.
