Some wonder what’s after this life while others don’t care. Death is certain someday, and yet most people don’t want to deal with the thought of it. Many say, “I’m a good person, and I think I’m going to be OK.” However, what you think has little to do with it. So, what does God have to say about this?

Romans 7:14-16

I can anticipate the response that is coming: “I know that all God’s commands are spiritual, but I’m not. Isn’t this also your experience?” Yes. I’m full of myself—after all, I’ve spent a long time in sin’s prison. What I don’t understand about myself is that I decide one way, but then I act another, doing things I absolutely despise. So if I can’t be trusted to figure out what is best for myself and then do it, it becomes obvious that God’s command is necessary.

We must acknowledge we are in need of someone to rescue us from sin and its grip that seeks to destroy our life and rob our destiny. God says there is hope.

John 3:16-17

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.

The message is simple as God did for us what we could not do for ourselves. There is a question before you right now:

“Will you give your heart to Christ and ask Him to forgive you for your sins?”

You cast the deciding vote of who will sit on the throne of your heart.


You may receive Jesus Christ this moment by praying this prayer sincerely from your heart:

“Dear Jesus Christ, forgive me for my sins and change my life to follow you. I invite you into my heart, and you are now the Lord of my life. I will serve you the best I know how. Thank you for hearing my prayer and saving my soul. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”

Now enjoy your life in Christ and follow Him. Make decisions knowing that He is alive and with you in all that you do. He sent the Holy Spirit into this world to convict the world of sin. The Holy Spirit is that quiet voice that will speak to you along this journey and lead you in a direction of obeying God’s Word. Walk in what God has given you and enjoy freedom from sin’s grip upon your life.
