1.Introduction

1.1System Overview

This manual outlines the use of the LADOT Scanning Maintenance software application.

1.2System Requirements
1.2.1Hardware Requirements

A mouse and keyboard on a Windows Operating laptop or computer is required to run the software.

1.2.2Software Requirements

The application requires a version of SQL Server 2008 Express or higher installed on the device.

1.2.3Other Requirements

The application requires the ASP.NET 4.0 framework to be installed on the computer.

2.Installation Procedures

There is no installation required besides downloading the .exe file and placing it in a directory with the associated “XMLFiles” for loading data into the application.

3.Operational Procedures

3.1Logging In and Out

When the system opens, the only screen available is the log-in screen. Input your user id and password (supplied by LADOT) into the fields and hit “Log-In.”

To log out, simply hit the log-out button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

3.2Logging a Call

To log that you have received a call, press the “Log Call” button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This will generate a new unregistered job. To register the job, fill out the associated fields at the top of the screen and hit the “Log Information” button.

3.3Logging a Job

Once a call has been logged, the call will show up in the list on the main screen. Select a job and press the “Perform” button to being performing the job. Press the “Log Arrival”, “Log Completion” and “Log Departure” buttons when you have completed the appropriate action. To register job issues, select the “Register job issue” button on the right-hand side of the screen and follow the instructions on the popup menu.

Make sure to log all of your information before departing, as job’s are not editable once departed.

A video presentation has been uploaded with this manual for additional clarification.

4.Troubleshooting

There are no frequently asked questions currently by users and the program does not throw any error codes, the validation handles things internally inside of the program.
