Dear Parents,

Insert Room Parent Name and I have been selected as Room Parents for Insert Teacher’s Name‘s class. We are looking forward to organizing some fun things for the students and want any parent who would like to be involved to have the opportunity to do so. After all the forms have been returned to us, we will send out a final volunteer list and schedule so you can mark your calendars and plan accordingly.

SNACK DAYS: (Please remember that we have a child with a fill in allergy.)

  • You can send something bought or homemade in to the class with your child.
  • Snacks should be individually portionedand wrapped and sent in first thing in the morning so Insert Teacher’s Namecan decide when to distribute it.
  • 1-2 volunteers per date.
  • Send in Insert # of students in class of each item.
  • Snacks for testing days MUST be individually portioned and healthy (fruit, pretzels, popcorn, cheese, etc.)

CONTRIBUTIONS for the Winter Party, Year End Activity and GIFTS for Insert Teacher’s Name:

  • We are asking for a one-time contribution.These contributions will be collected now and used accordingly throughout the year.
  • These contributions are voluntary. Please give whatever you feel comfortable giving.
  • To make a contribution, fill out the contribution section and return it to school in the enclosed envelope with your child to go home to Insert Room Parent’s Name
  • Please send cash or checks made payable to Insert Room Parent's Name.
  • You will receive a receipt for your contributions, which will all be kept confidential.
  • Please note that the PTA has added a column to the form to allow you to make a specific contribution to all of our wonderful support staff. These includeenrichment teachers, advanced learning teachers, special education teachers and paraprofessionals not associated with a class, front office personnel, custodial staff, guidance counselors, media specialists and the school nurse– all of the people who help make Kincaid a great place for your child.Any contribution is welcome, even if it is just $1.This will go a long way in showing our appreciation of our Kincaid teachers and staff.

Please take a few moments to look at your calendar and consider choosing one or more events that you would like to participate in. If you are unable to commit at this time, please return your form so that we may have your email address to help keep you informed of planned events/activities in the class.

  • Please return the attached volunteer sign-up/contribution sheet along with any contributions by Friday, September 1st.
  • Send it back to school with your child in an envelope marked “For Insert Room Parent's Name.”
  • After all the forms have been returned, I will send out a final volunteer list and schedule.
