WATERMILL BOOKING CONDITIONS
(1)SMOKING.
Smoking is expressly forbidden in the Watermill. This includes thebalcony over the Wheel.
Outside,Smoking must be conducted away from the Watermill and all cigarette ends and matches mustbe completely extinguished
(2)PETS.
No Pets are allowed.
(3) CHILDREN.
No Children are allowed.
(4)FOOTWEAR
No outdoor footwear is to be worn inside the Watermill please remove at the front door before entering.
(5) NUMBER OF PERSONS USING THE WATERMILL.
Only those persons listed on the booking form (maximum of four)may occupy the Watermill.
It is forbidden for any other persons to join the named persons at any stage during the Rental.
(6) CARE OF THE PROPERTY AND CLIENT OBLIGATIONS.
The Client/s shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and condition and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental as at the start.
Wet, muddy or dirty footwear is to be removed before entering the Watermill and all reasonable steps taken to avoid bringing unnecessary dirt into the Watermill.
No furniture or effects are to be moved.
The Watermill is not for hire for parties. I.E. Hen Stag, Birthdays, Anniversaries etc.
Due to the risk of fire the lighting of candles is prohibited.
The Owner or their Agents shall be allowed the right of entry at all reasonable times, for the purpose of inspection or necessary repairs and maintenance.
(7) BREAKAGES OR DAMAGE.
The Client is legally bound to reimburse the owners for replacement, repair (except normal wear and tear) or extra cleaning costs on demand.
(8) PERIOD OF HIRE.
Rentals commence at 3.00pm on the date of arrival and terminate at 10.00am
on the day of departure.
(9) PAYMENT.
A deposit of £200.00 is payable if the booking is made 8 weeks before the start of the rental. The balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival.
If the booking is made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the full rent must be paid.
(10) CANCELLATION.
All cancellations made by the Client shall be in writing to John & Diane Ames 12 the Mead, New Ash Green, Longfield, KentDA3 8EZ.
Cancellation charges are on a sliding scale based on the number of days before the start of the rental.
0-13 days 100%
14-27 days 75%
28-55 days 60%
56 days or more Deposit.
Holiday Insurance is strongly recommended.
