SKETCH Artist Volunteer Application

Dear ArtistVolunteer Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with SKETCH!We recognize the tremendous contribution that volunteers bring to SKETCH,and we seek to create meaningful and valuable experiences through our programming.

We invite applications from Artist Volunteers in all arts media. Nevertheless, we have identified specific areas where we are currently seeking support (see the next page). If you have other areas of expertise, or a specific project you’d like to offer, we’re always open to suggestions! If you are not selected this time around we encourage you to apply again in the next round. The deadline for this round of Artist Volunteers isNovember 16, 2017. New volunteers would support our programs starting January 2018.

We aim to build equitable and diverse opportunities that promote inclusion, and to address systemic barriers and encourage inter-cultural dialogue and expression through the arts. We are seeking to increase diverse representation throughout the organization, and as such we strongly encourage proposals from all equity-seeking artists and groups.

Please fill out the application form as carefully as possible and submit it with your most current CV or resume, and any images of or links to your artwork. We regret to say that we cannot place all volunteers, and we can only contact applicants selected for an interview. Please note that if you are selected as an Artist volunteer, we will require a Vulnerable Sector check through the police and for you to attend our two-day training. If you have any concerns about this, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you once again for your interest in SKETCH!

Best wishes,

SKETCH
