Background:

Per ORS 294.480 supplemental budgets are allowed and must be prepared prior to spending additional revenue or paying additional expenditures. If the adjustment will increase expenditures or resources by 10 percent or more a supplemental budget must be published and a special hearing must be held to discuss the adjustment. The governing body may resolve to adopt and appropriate the supplemental budget following the close of the special hearing.

Siuslaw School District has received Construction Excise Tax from Lane County and City of Florence. Appropriating funds will allow the District to pay set-up cost for Lane County and monthly banking fees.

Recommendation:

The administration recommends you approve this item by adopting and appropriating the amounts listed in Resolution #021109 6(c)iii

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED; that the board of directors of the Siuslaw School District 97J after providing for and considering any public testimony concerning the duly advertised supplemental budget resolves that:

The resources and expenditures of the following fund are adjusted as follows:

280 – Construction Excise Tax

Resources:

1130 – Construction Excise Tax 20,000

Expenditures:

4190 – Other Facilities Construction Services 20,000
