League-Specific Rules

  • Play with11”Incredi-Ball
  • 30’ pitching rubber; 45’ basepath
  • Batter can strike out after 6 pitches but not on a foul ball.
  • Coaches pitch to their teams
  • All playersbat
  • Walks are not allowed
  • 10 defensive players on the field
  • Players are required to play 2 fullinnings

Opensubstitution

  • Clean all trash fromyourdugout
  • Coaches may be out on the field to instruct players
  • Half innings end after 3 outs or 5 runs

  1. No new inning started after 1 hour.
  2. Uniform shirts with a number must be worn. Highly recommend that pants are worn.
  3. All players bat. Late arriving players will be added to the end of the line-up with nopenalty.
  4. Batters are required to wear a helmet with a chinstrap the entire time they are offensively on the field (batting, running bases, in the on-deck circle, etc.). Anyone under the age of 18 on the field as a base coach must also wear a battinghelmet.
  5. The player up to bat and the on-deck player are the only two players that are allowed to swing a bat. Be sure that the on-deck player is in a safe place on the side of theinfield.
  6. Player’s not batting or running bases should be seated on their bench. Please do not allow players to sit on the back of thebenches.
  7. The coach or an adult representative from the offensive team will pitch to his/her own team batter.
  8. They may only get to first base by hitting the ball. Batters may strike and there are no walks.
  9. The defense is made up of ten players. The infield should consist of a catcher, a pitcher, a shortstop, and three basemen. The outfield will have 4 players. The outfielders may not set up in theinfield.
  10. The catcher must wear safety equipment when catching (catcher’s helmet, chest protector, and shin guards). Coaches should have the catcher for the next inning ready to take the field.
  11. Please rotate players in as many positions aspossible.
  12. Games must end in the event of lightening.
