This series of double albums combines todayÕs most loved choruses with yesterdays most loved hymns.
For many the Church Choir conjures up a group of 20 or so people in front of their church on Sunday gallantly attempting to bring to the congregation the hymns of the week.
Cathedral praise dispels this picture where large choirs around the world gather for wonderful times of worship and to lead people in powerful time of praise.
The music from these choirs transcends age and invites everyone into a special community time of worship.
People in the choirs range from 15 to 80 year olds. Even the rehearsals are a time of worship.
Style
By its very nature this music is more traditional in style. It is voices blended in worship.
Rich harmonies, covering all ranges from bass to soprano.
Purpose:
This series designed for the traditional church - many of whom have not easily embraced the modern praise and worship phenomenon but at the same time enjoy the songs but sung in a traditional chorale style.

The Celebration Choir is a worship choir, not only in itself, but in its desire to encourage those who come to listen and to join in the worship.
Evolving from the choir formed to support the 1985 Billy Graham ÔMission SheffieldÕ, the Celebration Choir 300 plus membership is drawn from nearly 100 different congregations from the Church in and around Sheffield, UK. The main requirement for membership is a desire to worship God.
At the heart of the choir is Choir director Jackie Williams. Through her direction choir rehearsals in and of themself are a time of worship. The membership believe that singing the Gospel must be based upon a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus and that GodÕs blessing must be sought if others are to be reached. There is a real sense of love and fellowship within the choir and this feeling flows out to those who hear them sing.
In this new century the choir feel that the Lord is leading them to use their ministry in support of individual churches as they seek to evangelize. By creating Praise Evenings the choir leads people in worship and creates an evening where people of all ages can come and be part of an experience of worship and understanding of the God who created us..
The choir leans in the more traditional choral style and this is their strength. Strong, emotional and energetic versions of some of todayÕs most loved choruses and hymns are sung with passion and power. The choir is made up of people of all ages Ð all with the purpose to worship God and share His love with others.
