Select 3 of the 5 Girl Scout outcomes and explain how the nominee has worked with the girls to achieve them:

  1. Strong Sense of Self

Girls have confidence in themselves and their abilities, and form positive identities.

  1. Positive Values

Girls act ethically, honestly, and responsibly, and show concern for others.

  1. Challenge Seeking

Girls take appropriate risks, try things even if they might fail, and learn from mistakes.

  1. Healthy Relationships

Girls develop and maintain healthy relations by communicating their feelings directly and resolving conflicts constructively.

  1. Community Problem Solving

Girls desire to contribute to the world in purposeful and meaningful ways, learn how to identify problems in the community, and create “action plans” to solve them.

As girls progress through Girl Scouting, they work on more complex projects and interact with their local communities to make lasting impressions. Girl Scouts engage in Take Action Projects which are the completion of a Journey or by earning one of the Girl Scout Higher Awards – the Bronze Award for Juniors, the Silver Award for Cadettes, and the Gold Award for Seniors and Ambassadors.

Be detailed as possible in describing a project and/or Higher Award your nominee supported in her/his troop during the last 2 years.
