Showroom unveiling in Berlin and Düsseldorf

Get hands-on with Schüco!

Bielefeld/Berlin/Düsseldorf. The concept behind the Schüco showrooms is to create more brand awareness and greater market presence – even outside of the BAU exhibition in Munich. With two new representative offices in Berlin and Düsseldorf, the Bielefeld-based company is enabling customers and architectsto experience its innovative systems up close with full-scale versions of its products. “The new locations are also another progressive move towards the future of metal fabrication” added Andreas Engelhardt, CEO and Managing Partner of Schüco International KG.

On 1 July 2016, celebrations were held against the unique backdrop of the old trading port in Düsseldorf, with 180 architects, customers and decision makers in attendance for the grand opening. The new showroom and the newly acquired sales office are situated in the MedienHafen (media harbour) area of the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia – in a perfect location for Schüco, as Andreas Engelhardt highlights: “Approximately 70% of the MedienHafen is made up of reference projects by us, including the building which houses the showroom and the new sales office.” Thanks to its ground level position with large window fronts, the external appearance of the new Düsseldorf showroom also attracts a great deal of attention. Inside, the impressive 140 m2 premises showcase countless exhibits, including a sample wall for around 30 different Schüco systems, a range of facilities for digital presentations and a lounge – an ideal setting which Schüco partners can also take advantage of for their customer consultations.

On 24 June 2016, the new Schüco representative office in the capital city of Berlin was officially opened in the presence of Berlin Senator for Economics, Technology and Research, Cornelia Yzer. The concept was implemented differently here at Schlüterstraße 40, near the Kurfürstendamm. The showroom and office fuse together across an area of 265 m². For example, there are no traditional office partition walls – instead, the meeting rooms have been built using mullion/transom façades. The offices have also been fitted with highly thermally insulated window and door systems and security and automation solutions. All from the Schüco product range.
