Terms & Conditions.

  1. The rates should be quoted along with specifications and supporting documents (technical details and brochures, etc.).
  1. Quotations should be accompanied by-

i. A call deposit (earnest money) amounting to Rs. 5,000/- pledged in favour of the Registrar, TezpurUniversity, payable at Tezpur.

  1. Quotation for each category/departments if applicable should be given in separate covers.
  1. The rates should be exclusive of taxes and applicable tax % should be clearly indicated.
  1. The University is exempted from Custom & Excise duty.
  1. Terms and Conditions of supply should be clearly indicated in the quotations.
  1. The supplier should be in a position to deliver and install the ordered items within the stipulated time mentioned in the supply order.
  1. Items must be delivered and installed at Napaam campus of the University at the cost of the supplier.
  1. The rates should be valid at least for a period of six months.
  1. Lowest quotation will not be sole criteria for qualification/selection.
  1. Proprietary items should be quoted with sole Manufacturer’s/ Distributorship’s certificate.
  1. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason.
  1. Applications clearly stating the Quotation Notice No. & Date should be submitted to the Registrar for release of call deposit/earnest money against unaccepted quotations.
  1. No separate tender paper will be issued from the office; one should only download the specifications from the web site.
  1. Successful bidder(s) has to submit 10% Bank Guarantee on the order value in advance in case of payment through LC/Foreign Draft/Wire Transfer. For payment after Delivery & Installation the Bank Guarantee should be submitted alongwith the Bill which will also be retained as Security for the warranty period of not less than (01) one year.
