Terms & Conditions.
- The rates should be quoted along with specifications and supporting documents (technical details and brochures, etc.).
- Quotations should be accompanied by-
i. A call deposit (earnest money) amounting to Rs. 5,000/- pledged in favour of the Registrar, TezpurUniversity, payable at Tezpur.
- Quotation for each category/departments if applicable should be given in separate covers.
- The rates should be exclusive of taxes and applicable tax % should be clearly indicated.
- The University is exempted from Custom & Excise duty.
- Terms and Conditions of supply should be clearly indicated in the quotations.
- The supplier should be in a position to deliver and install the ordered items within the stipulated time mentioned in the supply order.
- Items must be delivered and installed at Napaam campus of the University at the cost of the supplier.
- The rates should be valid at least for a period of six months.
- Lowest quotation will not be sole criteria for qualification/selection.
- Proprietary items should be quoted with sole Manufacturer’s/ Distributorship’s certificate.
- The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason.
- Applications clearly stating the Quotation Notice No. & Date should be submitted to the Registrar for release of call deposit/earnest money against unaccepted quotations.
- No separate tender paper will be issued from the office; one should only download the specifications from the web site.
- Successful bidder(s) has to submit 10% Bank Guarantee on the order value in advance in case of payment through LC/Foreign Draft/Wire Transfer. For payment after Delivery & Installation the Bank Guarantee should be submitted alongwith the Bill which will also be retained as Security for the warranty period of not less than (01) one year.
