Adverbs and Nouns

To form adverbs in Spanish, one usually ______ (corresponding to -ly in English) to the ______. Another way to form an adverb is by adding ______:

El dificilmente acabo su deber.
He had difficulty finishing his homework.

Be careful!(As in, Drive carefully, or Be careful doing that.)

Nouns in Spanish have either ______and ______in order to show the correct gender: la gata (female cat) or el gato(male cat). Most nouns that end inaare feminine, and most that end in o are masculine, however there are exceptions.

We are able to differentiate between the three: verbs, adverbs, and nouns due to their endings.

Mi marido salió corriendo detrás del gato; dificilmente lo va a poder capturar.
My husband went running after the cat; he will hardlycapture it.

  • Say that your men's department has white dress shirts great for formal attire or daily wear.
  • Finally, add that women's colorful dresses and earth tone suits are the ones to make your customers look good.

Bienvenidos a nuestra rebaja anual por el mes del Amor y la Amistad, que va desde el 1ro de Febrero hasta el 24 de Febrero.

Tenemos un stock grande de artículos a precios rebajados, desde ternos de hombres, atuendos para mujeres, ropa casual, ropa elegante, accesorios, ropa de niños, todo tipo de zapatos, etc…
Nuestro departamento de hombres ofrece un una gran variedad de camisas blancas en tallas surtidas desde small hasta extra extralarge, además de corbatas en todos los colores del arco iris, desde morado, verde, azul, y amarillo hasta rojo. Chaquetas de hombre a la moda, en negro, café, y tonos de tierra aptos para la temporada de lluvia. Suéteres livianos para trabajo o uso casual.
Para las mujeres ofrecemos faldas en una amplia gama de colores, desde anaranjado, marón, celeste, rosado y todos los colores que usted pueda imaginar para estar “fashion” para la cita con su Valentín, además de ternos y abrigos rojos (el color del amor) en precio especial por la temporada, aptos para la oficina o para uso diario.
