Kudos to Maria Peterson who ran a half marathon last week.
Congratulations to the Cafeteria staff and Kim Cannon for having a perfect health inspection with no violations.
There will be a Warrior Club meeting at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 5th in the Media Center. Please join us to support the Warrior Club as they are in need of concession, campus clean-up, and spiritwear volunteers. The more volunteers, the more support the Warrior Club can provide our athletic teams.
Administrators will be visiting English classes on Monday and Tuesday to review the Code of Conduct.
Counselors will be meeting with juniors during English classes to train them on Family Connections and Naviance this week.
Students that have November 1st deadlines, please turn in your transcript requests to the Registrar by October 9th.
On Wednesday, October 14, 9th-11th grade students will be taking the PSAT. All students should arrive at the normal time. There will be a short 1st period and then 9th-11th graders will go to their testing locations and seniors will report to the cafeteria for the Senior Breakfast. At the breakfast, seniors will order their cap and gowns and do senior superlatives. They will also report to the stadium to have their senior class picture taken.
The field hockey program has raised a total of $820 for the National Foundation for Cancer Research. Thanks a million to those who have supported their fundraising efforts. The field hockey program will host the Play4theCure game against Gaithersburg on October 9th at 5:45 pm.
Joe Holonich (Nuclear Engineer) will be speaking to the X-Stem Club on Tuesday, October 6.
The volleyball program has raised $3,025 to support breast cancer research. The volleyball program will host the DigPink event game against Northwest on October 13th starting at 5:45 pm.
We will have Open House for parents on Monday, October 12.
The building will be converting from air condition to heat starting on October 9.
Health inventories and biometric health screenings are due online by October 9th in order to take advantage of rate reductions.
