SERP 2000

SERP 2000 is the umbrella group for everything to do with the Sports Field, which was created from scratch a few years ago. This impressive facility, the envy of every village in the Test Valley, is located on the corner of Steplake Road and the A27, just by the Post Office. In addition to the sports facilities there is an outdoor children's activity area, and various events are held throughout the year

SERP 100 Club

SERP runs a 100 Club which is open to anyone. The annual cost is £12 per person and there are four annual draws with prizes of £50 and £25 and one bumper draw

with a £100 prize. For more details please contact Lucie on 884996

A NEW PAVILION – with your help!

You will have noticed that the temporary buildings on the Sports Field that pose as kitchen; toilets; showers and storage facilities are unattractive and unpleasant to use.

We have received planning permission for a lovely building that will transform the facilities which we offer and will include a very useful meeting space to supplement the Village Hall. There will also be a large internal storage space that will make it harder for thieves such as those that recently stole two of our lawnmowers.

Cricket teams (and other sports) would like to make use of our splendid grounds but do not use them because of the state of the refreshments and changing facilities, and this is very sad.

We have revised the size of the pavilion, so building costs have been reduced, we hope to have the basic shell up by the end of this year, but we will need lots of help and funds to finish the inside.

Thank you to all those people who support us at the annual Fun days. This is a valuable fund raising opportunity, but we cannot hope to raise the required sum to complete the project without more help.

If you can personally help, we will be delighted to hear from you.
