Shenzhou International Granted one of the
“Top 1,000 Asian Companies” in 2010
(30November 2010 – Hong Kong) China’s largest vertically integrated knitwear manufacturer–Shenzhou International Group Holdings Limited (“Shenzhou International” or the “Group”;stock code：2313) is pleased to announce that Shenzhou International has been again named in the “Top 1,000 Asian Companies” List of Yazhou Zhoukan (“亞洲週刊”).
Conducted by Yazhou Zhoukan, the “Top 1,000 Asian Companies” List for 2010 was recently unveiled. TheList was based on and ranked by the market capitalization as at 30 July 2010 of companies worldwide. PetroChina Company Limitedonce again topped the list, followed by ICBC and China Mobile Limited, coming in second and third respectively.Shenzhou Internationalranked 599th place in the List with market capitalization of US$1,634.5 million, a significant jump as compared to its792th place last year.
Commenting on the results, Mr. Ma Jianrong, Chairman of the Group, said, “With the recovery of theeconomy, a number of companies have shown their strong competitiveness, as demonstrated in part by that fact that most companies in the List had delivered remarkable turnover and earning growth. Shenzhou International has climbed up nearly 200 places as compared to last year, implying that the Group’s position in the international capital market is constantly strengthening.
