(1) A build up of industry updates on specialized and privileged information on strengths, opportunities. Threats and weaknesses.

(2) Understanding of the industry group’s top players, their business. Asset conversion cycle and overall business and financial risk profiles.

B. Credit Origination process through

A. CREDIT PROPOSALS

i. Examine credit proposals being forwarded to credit committee and ensure that security package is adequate to protect risk assets.

ii. Comment on all credit proposals and pass on to the next approving authority.

B. COLLATERAL COVERAGE AND CONTROL

i. Appraise securities on a periodic basis, for adequacy, marketability and enforceability and general written opinions as appropriate;

ii.  Advise on security enforcement

iii. Advises on warehouses to be used for export and import transactions:

iv. Conduct regular unannounced surveillance of warehouses where goods held as security are kept and ensure compliance with tripartite collateral management agreement.

v. Ensuring insurance or warehoused goods and prompt payment of premium

C. LOAN DISBURSEMENT

Control Loan Disbursements By:

i. Properly vetting offering sheet. Disbursement memo and all other documents associated with credit facilities.

ii.  Making sure that all conditions precedent to draw down have been fully complied with.

iii. Ensure loans do not exceed higher percentage of total deposits.

i. Ensure compliance with the bank's credit policy in key credit towards safeguarding bank's position at all times.

ii. Assess all risk assets in accordance with prudential guidelines.

·  Overseeing grass root monitoring of all student, as it relates to their general welfare, challenges; and making referrals as required.

·  Adequate monitoring of the roll call details to ensure that student who have not taken official permits are on campus;and those not on campus without official permit are followed up and expedite actions taken on them.

·  Ensuring that roll call defaulters are brought to book.

·  Overseeing random searching of the halls of residence for contraband items.

·  Organizing and supervising fortnight general cleaning exercise in the halls of residence.

·  Organizing and overseeing regular visits to hall of residence, cafeterias, butteries, hair barbing & hair dressing salons, and other service providing facilities for student, to inspect the quality and/or quantity of services providing in each of the locations, so that necessary input and recommendation can be made.

·  Organizing and overseeing unannounced early morning checks for students’ compliance with the dress code policy, as they step out of their halls of residence.

·  Generating weekly reports as it relate to residency.

·  Provision of the available numbers of rooms and bed spaces in each hall, to facilitate the processing of room allocation for eligible student.

·  Ensuring that all student are out of the residential provisions to attend university general assemblies and related programmers and forwarding defaults’ lists for appropriate penalty.
