Setting up your Assessors in Power Standards

Click “New”, then“User” - fill in the blanks and click Save. If you choose to create a group for your mock or onsite team, you would click on “Group”- name your group and click save, next click on the members tab, add members, and click save.

Click on the Security tab at the top. Select Administrator Privileges and click Save.

In order for an assessor to run reports, you must check Reports under Create Rights.

In order for an assessor to send messages in Power Standards you must give messaging rights.

To set the security levels for the Assessment - from the drop-down menu, choose Assessments.

Click the pencil icon next to the assessment.

Click the security tab.

Add the user or the group and select the level of security.

To set the security levels for the Standards Manual - from the drop-down menu, choose Standards and then click on the pencil next to the manual.

Select the Security Tab. Add the user or the group and select the level of security.

Assign the Assessment – You will need to assign users to a role within the assessment in order for them to observe or participate. You must choose participate for a mock or onsite member.

From the drop down box, choose Assessment, and then open the assessment you wish to assign members to by clicking on the name of the assessment.

After opening the assessment – choose the assignment tab and then click on “add new assignment”. From the drop down box choose the person or group in which you would like to add, select the role in which they play a part, either Mock Assessor or Final Assessor , select “Participate from the drop down box under Responsibility and click the save icon next to the X.

Your assessors should now be ready to log in and begin the assessment. If they are acting in the role of Final Assessor, they will need an unlock code which will be provided by the Florida Accreditation Office.
