RE: Weekly Update
I want to thank everyone last week on Friday while I was out of the office for Manifestation and Long-Term hearings. The hearings are always difficult, especially when it involves special education students. Hopefully, the students will learn from the experience.
This Week
Tutoring Meetings – I will be meeting with students and their parents throughout the week to discuss tutoring for Math and English.
MEC Presentation – Seniors are eligible to attend a presentation about attending college. They will be here to present to seniors at 11:00 on Monday.
Student Council Meeting – I will have a student council meeting on Monday at lunch.
AmeriCorps State Interview – I will be interviewing for the AmeriCorps position on Monday at 1:00.
4H Village Farms – Barbara will be taking the students to the farm on Tuesday at 1:00 for the first of many trips.
Staff Meeting – We will have a staff meeting on Wednesday. Please be here at 7:30. We will be discussing Wellness week, Homecoming, Focus on 3 and Student of the Month.
School-Wide Meeting – We will have a school-wide meeting during first hour on Wednesday. Please send me any information that you want added to the slideshow.
Optimist Luncheon – I will be out on Wednesday lunch to attend the Optimist Luncheon.
School Improvement – I will be attending the School Improvement Meeting on Wednesday at 3:30 to discuss this year’s school improvement plan.
EEI Workshop – Lisa and Alex will be out on Thursday for the EEI Workshop.
Guest Speaker – Maria P. will be here on Thursday to speak to Sally’s English Class. Maria was the editor for the Arizona Daily Star.
Legendary Teacher Day – Thursday is the celebration for the Legendary Teacher’s Day. Take a moment on Thursday to celebrate Legendary Teachers.
School Pictures – Bell Photography will be here on Friday at 10 am.
Shannon’s Out – Shannon will be out on Friday after lunch.
