Obtaining Funds and Grants for your LearningCenter – Moderator – Bill Boland (Austin, TX)

Bill Boland, Austin, will open the discussion with a presentation of a Symposium for small business that the AustinCenter offered during January. The discussion will then be open for LearningCenter participants to discuss how their LearningCenter has obtained grants or local community funding.

Running a Successful Computer Club – Moderator – Charlene Francis (Oklahoma City)

How do you start and maintain a successful computer club? What is involved? How do you keep member interested? Are there costs involved? What makes them keep coming back and being a part of the meetings?

Ideas and Resources for Seminars/ Classes/ Workshops – Moderator – Jan Adkins

What Workshop and Seminar Material is available on Leadership Exchange? What are the LC’s doing to offer new subjects to their students? What new classes or workshops can SeniorNet provide to the LC’s?

Coordinators Meeting with Linda Young Colar

Coordinators will have a chance to discuss their programs, successes and concerts with SeniorNet’s Director of Programs & Services responsible for the Learning Centers.

NOTE:

Moderators will have minutes taken of each session. These will be shared with all attendees and posted to the SeniorNet Headquarters web site. This will allow other Computer Learning Centers access so that those not attending can benefit from the discussions they missed
